The answer to this question is not so simple. Mainly I want to record and keep track of my workouts whichwill hopefully help me achieve my ultimate dream: Run in the Boston Marathon.
If it’s not hard, you’re not dreaming big enough – Shalane Flanagan
I really like this quote by the wonderful Shalane Flanagan who won the New York City Marathon in 2017. Running is not easy. If it was everyone would be a runner. It is my perseverance that has pushed me to continue on my running journey. When I first starting running somewhat consistently it was to keep off some extra weight I had gained while living in the middle of nowhere (- don’t ask). However, over time running has become so much more to me: a passion. Everyone can start running, all you really need is a pair of decent shoes and some workout gear and you can just take off. To date I have completed 1 5 km race, 12 half marathons and 1 marathon with many more to come over the coming years.
Please follow me along on my journey to the Boston Marathon.
